The devil’s horn scars the West with no remorse, a penitent strain into a land not meant for man. Further down the path you furrow your brow and forget why you arrived, the devil’s horn a prickly phenomena that erupts from underneath the flowers. It strains like no other growth; as it scratches in the wind it ignites in the swelter. A dance of twin devils latent in the fauna echoes across the inferno; you leave the scene; there will be another time to burn out.
